3 How We Use Your Data
Quiz Engine
Bible quiz logic, scoring, streaks, and daily challenges are managed on-device.
Analytics
Firebase Analytics collects anonymised events to improve quiz difficulty and user experience.
Push Notifications
Firebase Cloud Messaging sends daily reminders. You can disable these in device Settings at any time.
Sign-In
Google Sign-In syncs quiz progress and achievements across devices via Firebase.
Remote Configuration
Firebase Remote Config lets us adjust quiz parameters and enable/disable features without a full app update.
4 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only as described below.
We may also disclose data if required by applicable law or to protect user safety.
5 Data Storage & Security
On-device storage
All core app data is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us.
Transmission security
Any data transmitted to third-party services is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
No Bichatrix servers
We operate no backend servers or proprietary databases. Bichatrix has no server-side account system.
Standard device security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in encryption and access controls.
6 Permissions We Request
INTERNET
Required for Firebase services and Google Sign-In.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
To send quiz reminders and daily challenges (Android 13+). Prompted at runtime; optional.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
To reschedule notification alarms after device reboot.
7 Your Rights & Controls
Access
Your score and quiz history are visible within the game at all times.
Deletion
To delete your Firebase account and all associated data, contact elnimatrix@gmail.com.
Disable Notifications
Android: Settings → Apps → Bichatrix → Notifications. iOS: Settings → Bichatrix → Notifications.
Google Sign-Out
Sign out at any time from the game's Settings screen.
8 Data Retention
On-device data is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall Bichatrix.
Analytics data collected by third-party services (e.g. Firebase, AdMob) is retained according to their own privacy policies.

9 Children's Privacy
Bichatrix is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will assist with deletion.
10 International Users
Bichatrix is available worldwide. Because core data is stored on-device, it is subject to the laws of the country where your device resides. Any data transmitted to third-party services is subject to those services' data processing terms.
EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR)
You have additional rights including erasure, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests (providing the service) and consent (for optional features such as camera access, notifications, and sign-in).
11 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. Bichatrix does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact elnimatrix@gmail.com.

13 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes we will notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of Bichatrix after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
