3 How We Use Your Data
Live Monitoring
Trater polls your inverter directly and displays output, battery state, load, and voltage in real time.
History & Trends
Power readings are logged on-device so you can review daily and weekly generation and consumption trends.
Smart Alerts
Get notified when battery drops below your set threshold, grid power is lost, or output falls unexpectedly.
4 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only as described below.
Trater does not share data with any third parties.
We may also disclose data if required by applicable law or to protect user safety.
5 Data Storage & Security
On-device storage
All core app data is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us.
Transmission security
Any data transmitted to third-party services is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
No Trater servers
We operate no backend servers or proprietary databases. Trater has no server-side account system.
Standard device security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in encryption and access controls.
6 Permissions We Request
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
To connect to your inverter over the local network.
BLUETOOTH_CONNECT (Android 12+)
To pair and communicate with Bluetooth-enabled inverters.
7 Your Rights & Controls
Access
All inverter history is visible in the app at any time.
Deletion
Clear all logged readings from Settings → Clear History.
8 Data Retention
On-device data is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall Trater.
Analytics data collected by third-party services (e.g. Firebase, AdMob) is retained according to their own privacy policies.

9 Children's Privacy
Trater is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will assist with deletion.
10 International Users
Trater is available worldwide. Because core data is stored on-device, it is subject to the laws of the country where your device resides. Any data transmitted to third-party services is subject to those services' data processing terms.
EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR)
You have additional rights including erasure, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests (providing the service) and consent (for optional features such as camera access, notifications, and sign-in).
11 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. Trater does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact elnimatrix@gmail.com.

13 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes we will notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of Trater after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
