2 What Data We Collect
Every category of data that Convertotrix may access or store.

3 How We Use Your Data
File Processing
Convert, trim, loop, and merge audio/video locally using FFmpeg. No files are uploaded.
Job History
Your conversion history is stored on-device and can be cleared at any time from Settings.
Advertising
Google AdMob displays banner and interstitial ads. AdMob may use your Advertising ID for relevant ads.
4 Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only as described below.
Advertising ID for personalised or non-personalised ads
We may also disclose data if required by applicable law or to protect user safety.
5 Data Storage & Security
On-device storage
All core app data is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us.
Transmission security
Any data transmitted to third-party services is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
No Convertotrix servers
We operate no backend servers or proprietary databases. Convertotrix has no server-side account system.
Standard device security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in encryption and access controls.
6 Permissions We Request
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO
To access audio and video files for conversion.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android < 10)
To save output files to your Downloads folder.
INTERNET
Required for Google AdMob to serve ads.
7 Your Rights & Controls
Access
All job history is visible in the History screen at any time.
Deletion
Clear individual jobs by swiping or tap "Clear All History" in Settings.
Ad Preferences
Reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device Settings → Privacy.
8 Data Retention
On-device data is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall Convertotrix.
Analytics data collected by third-party services (e.g. Firebase, AdMob) is retained according to their own privacy policies.

9 Children's Privacy
Convertotrix is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will assist with deletion.
10 International Users
Convertotrix is available worldwide. Because core data is stored on-device, it is subject to the laws of the country where your device resides. Any data transmitted to third-party services is subject to those services' data processing terms.
EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR)
You have additional rights including erasure, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests (providing the service) and consent (for optional features such as camera access, notifications, and sign-in).
11 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. Convertotrix does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact elnimatrix@gmail.com.

13 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes we will notify you via an in-app notice. Continued use of Convertotrix after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
